Michael Kamerman joined Skilling as CEO in 2020. Prior to Skilling, he joined FXCM in 2005 as a sales associate and was subsequently promoted to lead FXCM’s customer services division, before being appointed managing director in 2017, reporting to the company’s CEO Brendan Callan. In fact, it became “#2”.
Skilling was founded in 2016 and is controlled by former Betsafe CEO André Lavold. The company operates under a CySEC license in Cyprus and is controlled from Cyprus and London, as well as Marbella, a resort town in southern Spain where Michael Kammerman is based. Skilling’s chairman is Jon Squires, former CEO of Capital.com.
Michael Kammerman posted the following message on social media today regarding his departure:
Today is my last day as #CEO of Skilling Group. 2023 was a record year for new clients, active clients, trading volume, net revenue and EBIT performance. With the strong team they have, 2024 will be an even better year.
We would like to thank all the Skillers over the past three years, especially all the investors, and the Skilling Board of Directors.
We look forward to announcing the next chapter in mid-April.
